The CMA Medical Student Section, part of the California Medical Association, offers membership and participation in organized medicine. The CMA is very supportive of physicians-in-training and encourages their participation in all levels of the organization. Medical students are often called “the conscience of medicine” and are encouraged to explore fresh approaches to solving the issues facing physicians today.
